One thing I LOVE about fall is the return of Pumpkin Spice Latte. No matter what anyone says, it might be ‘basic’ but I love it to death and will get a cup every chance I get. So when I saw the Pumpkin Spice Latte Book Tag I knew it was fate 😉 This is a newly created book tag by the Book Pusher on booktube and I saw it over at Acquadimore Books. Let’s get into it!
Pumpkin Spice Latte
a book everyone likes to hate on but is delicious
Opinions about the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas seem to be very divided, some people L O V E it, while other detest the series. I personally adore it a ton, it’s my favorite series by her and I’m super sad it’s done. This is one of the longer series I read and I wish it went on even longer. Candyce and I did a reread before the last book came out and I might need to do another reread next year <3
“Fall is my favorite season”
a cliche you cant get enough of
Nothing wrong with a good cliche! I think one cliche I always enjoy is the one where our main character turns out to be the long lost princess. You can usually see it coming a mile away, or should have seen it coming, but it stays fun!
Sweater Weather to T-Shirt Weather
A book you thought was one thing but was completely different by the end
A book that comes to mind is The Poppy War. While I was warned that this was a very brutal book and that is has a long list of trigger warnings, this book started out as something different than it was by the end. When we start the book it’s basically all fun and games, I laughed out loud more than once and was a happy summer child ;). But then it all went to shit basically and the brutal book everyone talked about showed its true colors. And while I still loved it, that second half was very different from the first half. I really had to recover before I’m ready to dive into the sequel.
“Spoops”
do you have a spooky book on your tbr?
I definitely do! A bunch actually! The one I’m probably most excited for, and the one I can’t believe I still haven’t read, is The Diviners by Libba Bray. I have had this one for a couple of years now and want to read it so badly! So why haven’t I? Great question haha. Hopefully this is the year I do!
Tarot Reading
a five star prediction
I did my TTT about this last week! Those were 10 five star predictions for books releasing in the upcoming months. If I had to pick a book on my TBR that might be a five star read for me, I have to go with Vengeful by V.E. Schwab. After meeting her I’m very excited to dive back into this book. And from what I read already I’m pretty sure I’ll love this one!
Sephora Sage + Crystal Set
a book that meant well but missed the mark by a landslide
Losing the Field by Abbi Glines was surely meant to be a book with a great message. But instead we got one that could be viewed as pretty harmful and was pretty much a mess. Abbi tried to make a lot of points and added so much into the book, but in the end it all stayed superficial. Almost none of these important topics were looked at more in depth and seemed brushed aside. It was a bit of a disappointment and I hope she can recapture that magic from the first book!
These questions were fun! They weren’t the same ones we get over and over again so great job by the creator! What is a cliche you can never get enough off? Tell me all about it in the comments!
I borrowed The Diviners from the library without knowing anything about it. Best choice I made that week 😀
This is a cute tag
Looking forward to reading The Poppy War. It’s steampunk, so that’s why it’s so brutal, but I do want to learn more about the opium crisis China faced
Pumpkin spice lattes are my favorite, too! I hate how much everybody complains about them. Just let people enjoy what they want to!

Exactly!
Oooooh there are 2 tags going around with a similar title! I did the other one. Well, you actually got me a TTT topic 🙂
