On Tuesday, another amazing book released by Kendall Ryan. Junk Mail is a standalone and a lot of fun! Thanks to the author, I had a chance to read an ARC to read and review! If you’ve been following the blog awhile, you know I love her books, so did this one live up to my expectations?
Junk Mail, a hilariously sexy standalone by New York Times bestselling author is live and available everywhere.
It all started with a sexy selfie. ?
A deliciously naughty, tell-everyone-you-know read!
About Junk Mail
It all started with a sexy selfie.
Texted to the wrong number.
Not my finest moment—but I have nothing to be ashamed of.
She thought I was no better, and I quote, than the knuckle-dragging douche-bags she was never dating again.
It was a stupid dare from a girl I’d met online, but since she’d given me a fake number, I didn’t feel bad that my interests were suddenly focused elsewhere—on the fiery and sharp-tongued, Peyton that I found myself sparring with over text for the rest of the evening.
The following day, my case of mistaken identity came back to bite me in the banana.
When I strolled into the office, I was introduced to Peyton as the new client I needed to win over. The Peyton , in case you’re not tracking.
And let’s just say she had my full attention.
Beauty? Oh yeah.
And the best part? She hated me on sight.
Dear God, do I love a challenge.
Let the games begin.
I love Kendall Ryan’s books, but I have to say this is one of my favorites. Sending a sexy selfie goes wrong and it just happens to be Josh’s potential business partner. This definitely causes some awkward moments. Who knew there would be some attraction between Josh and Peyton?
Junk Mail isn’t the most unique story, but for some reason I really connected to this one! Peyton is strong woman and starting her own business. Josh is a succesful businessman and maybe a tad bit arrogant, but also very protective! When it cames to Peyton’s grandmother he was adorable!
Let’s also talk about Peyton’s grandmother. It doesn’t happen often that the grandmother plays such a big role in a romance book, but she was so fun! A sassy grandmother who talks about sexy stuff no granddaughter wants to know about, haha. I loved that they were so close and they definitely made me miss my grandmother just a little bit more.
The chemistry between Peyton and Josh is there from the start and I loved seeing them connect. There were awkward moments and some badly timed remarks that caused some laugh out loud moments. I couldn’t put the book down and loved reading the will they-won’t they moments! The sexy moments were definitely steamy.
If you’re looking for lovable characters, humor, a “forbidden” relationship and some steamy moments, definitely pick this one up. Junk Mail was definitely a breath of fresh air! It was nice to have a romance that isn’t that angsty, but just a lot of fun!
