Tag| Easter Book Tag

Easter is this Sunday, so I thought it would be fun to do a holiday related tag! I found the Easter Book Tag at Book Hooked Nook. The tag was originally created by Rosie the Reader. Let’s see what this tag is all about.

Rabbits – A book you wish you could multiply.

I would multiply a lot of book, but I think I’ll pick one that I recently read. Watch Me Unravel is a romance with rock stars. David (our main character) isn’t the best guy, but you can’t help but love him after seeing what he goes through. On top of that this book is filled with a lot of humor, great characters and many steamy moments!

Egg – A book that surprised you.

Wicked Saints was a big surprise! Isabelle and I both got an ARC on Netgalley. Before we started there were already quite a few people parising this book. I’m always careful when it comes to hyped book, but this one really lives up to the hype. Great worldbuilding, storyline and characters! If I could get my hands on the sequel now, I would be very happy!

Hunt – A book that was hard for you to get your hands on.

I honestly can’t think of a book that was hard for me to get my hands on. There is a book at the moment that is going to take a bit longer. Descendant of the Crane was released last week, but the site I order from says it’s not expected for another 9 weeks! Hopefully that will change soon.

Lambs – A children’s book that you still enjoy.

A Story a Day ’til Christmas is a children’s book I still enjoy. Not only are the illustrations gorgeous, but I have very fond memories of these stories. When I was younger, my mother would read one every night to me until Christmas. That’s my favorite time of year and I still look back on it with a smile on my face. I even still own this book!

Spring – A book with a cover that makes you think of Spring.

I will have to stick with the book I actually used on Instagram a couple of days ago for Spring Colors. Jennifer Lynn Barnes is an autobuy author for me. She writes great thrillers that really leave you wondering who is behind it all! I haven’t been able to figure it before reading the end of the book. Little White Lies is still on my TBR though.

Rising From the Dead – A book from a deceased author.

I really had to think about this one. At first I didn’t think I had ever read anything by a deceased author. That isn’t true though. The last few books of The Wheel of Time series are techically written by a deceased author. Robert Jordan had already passed away, but Brandon Sanderson finished the last few books.

Baskets – A book that is in your Amazon cart or wishlist right now.

It doesn’t happen often that I have something sitting in my cart, but at the moment I do. The book How to Make Friends with the Dark. There’s something about this book that really speaks to me. Maybe because I’m really close to my mother and I can’t imagine what this main character is going through. On top of that the cover is stunning!

Candy – A book that is sweet.

Courtside Crush is a sweet modern day retelling of Romeo & Juliet. The characters are a lot of fun and the story leaves a smile on your face. If you enjoy that, the rest of the Varsity Girlfriends series is definitely one to recommend. I have loved all of them so far!

So that’s it for the Easter Book Tag! I hope all that celebrate have a great day. What’s a book in your cart or on your wishlist at the moment?
