About two weeks ago I bought the Sims 4 and I have been obsessed ever since!! It had been quite awhile since last playing the Sims before now. But I was really feeling like getting back in to it and that’s exactly what I did. I have to admit I might be playing a little bit more than I should be doing but it’s just so much FUN! And I came across the 100 baby challenge so I started doing than yesterday. Let’s talk about that challenge a little bit more!

I actually learned about the 100 baby challenge from the Buzzfeed Instagram TV haha. And I recently discovered that it’s a whole youtube series, honestly what an amazing job! I have been watching a couple of the episodes, while playing at the same time haha.

For a little while I just played the regular game. Since it had been so long, it was really fun to just discover the game and all the new options. I got the Parenthood add-on or whatever it’s called and I’m really enjoying it! But after playing it for a couple of hours I realized it would be really fun to do the Sims 4 100 Baby Challenge.

First things first, I had to find the challenge and look up the rules haha. So I found the Tumblr post from the creator, and already found a couple of other fun challenges for the future! The main goal for this challenge is pretty obvious, to have a 100 babies haha. And there are a couple of rules. The most important ones being; you can use every donor only once; the dads can’t move in and help you out; you can’t pursue an out-of-house career; and obviously no cheats! I think this covers most of the important ones!

First I had to make a matriarch; Izzy Kuijpers it is! I got her some really pretty hair if I say so myself. And then another fun part, building a house! Since I can’t use any of the cheats I had to make due with the standard start capital of $20,000. I build myself a small house with all of the essentials. This was really fun to do and the house looks pretty decent. I realized I didn’t take any pictures of the full house, so you’ll just have to believe me haha. If I do an update (and let me know if you want one!) I’ll add some pictures of the house.

After finishing the house it was time to get going! I took care of the needs of Izzy and decided she was going to be a writer. When you write books at home you get paid royalties every day so that’s a great way to make money. After selling my first book I decided it was time to meet some men! So naturally I went to the gym haha.

At the gym I flirted with my first guy; Gijs. And with all my charm I got him to impregnate me hahaha. How awful does this sound? But for the sake of the challenge my Sim Izzy is just a baby machine. Luckily I got pregnant in one try and we actually got twins! So the first two babies are out of the way right away. I was really crushing it with the twins, the babies were happy and mom was happy. All the needs were fulfilled all the time so after they aged up to toddlers it was time to meet a new man.

I met a couple of guys in the gym that first time so I invited another one to come over. After jumping into bed with him Izzy unfortunately wasn’t pregnant, but she was after a second try! Were I was crushing being a mom of 2, being a mom of 3 proved to be a bit more difficult haha. Mommy was uncomfortable alll the time and very sleep deprived haha.

There’s already a new guy waiting to become the next baby daddy but there’s hardly any time to meet up with him. Tablets prove to be the perfect ‘parent’ for these kids. You can keep them busy and they learn skills at the same time! That’s another rule, the toddlers need to achieve level 3 for all skills before you can age them up. So that’s what I’m currently working on. Apparently you can only have 8 members in your household so I’m not to worried about getting pregnant right away. Because they all have to have time to age up as well.

I’m looking forward to my toddlers becoming kids so they can go to school and also help me out a little haha. There is also still so much I have to figure out but I’m having a ton of fun.
