It was a bit of a wait but Friday I finally got my Faecrate Bloodwitch Hangover Kit! And I couldn’t be more excited! I really love the Witchlands series but I hardly got any march for it. So when I saw that Faecrate was doing this box I knew I had to get it. I got the book + box option and now that I’ve got the book I hope to be reading it very soon. But for now, let’s take a look at what was inside the box!
As soon as I opened the box I saw something very exciting. You all might know I adore bookish pins so when I saw these three I knew this was the box for me. On the left we have a ‘weasels piss on you’ enamel pin designed by LKdesign studio. This pin has a lot of detail and it absolutely gorgeous. And on the right we have the two pins Tor Publishing sent out as a preorder incentive. I think all three of the pins look good and I can’t wait to give them a spot between my other pins.
Up next is this gorgeous necklace. It’s a pain stone necklace and was designed by Fae Crate. I think this necklace is absolutely stunning and I can’t wait to actually wear it! The color is very much to my taste and the hanger for the stone is beautiful!
On the left we got a very nice and very sturdy bookmark. It was designed by Faecrate and I think it looks great. I really like the colors and the design of the seafox. On the right is the Mathew’s Coffee Shop Rum & Coconut Coffee. Now how delicious does that sound? I’m not too big on coffee but I know for sure I will be drinking this! And it is from That Bookie Candles.
Look at these character cards! We’ve got Ryber, Six, Vanes, and Esme. They are designed by Juliascrawl. I really like the vibrant colors and the drawing style of these characters. To be honest I’d rather seen character cards for the main characters because I don’t anything like it but these are still gorgeous and I’m happy to add them to my collection.
On the left we got a Seafox design on a scarf. It’s the same design as on the bookmark and this was also created by Faecrate. I really like scarves so I liked that they tried to include a good one. Unfortunately this isn’t the best item, it’s very see-through so even though I like the look of it I probably won’t be using it. On the right we have a gorgeous pillowcase! I love pillowcases so I have quite some bookish pillows collected now and I’m excited to but this one in between those. The quote they used it great! And It was designed by Blanca Designs.
Up next is a Faecrate exclusive, an Aeduan plushie designed by Faecrate!! How cool is that? He’s already hanging out with Nikolai but I have to find them a good spot. I’m not completely sure on how to display them yet so if you have any ideas let me know in the comments!
More wonderful goodies! First up is the Owl & Blueberry candle and it smells delicious. I like the colors and the smells they used but the design on the label isn’t my favorite unfortunately. It was designed by Wicky Wicky Candle Co and like I said, it smells so so good! Another thing that smelled very nice was the Tide Witch’d bathsalts. Unfortunately the packaging had a little tear in it so the whole box (and my room) were covered in the bathsalts, oops!
One of my favorite items is this gorgeous wall tapestry designed by Gabriella Bujdoso. I adore this design with all of the colors. And did you see the treads that bind? How cool is that! I can’t wait to hang this one up.
We almost made it till the end! But first, on our left we have a book sleeve! I adore bookshelves a lot but I’m not sure it this is the most user-friendly. It nice to see they made one where you have to slide the book in from the side but the material isn’t very forgiving so you just push your book in there. And there is the main thing in the box! A copy of the book and a signed bookplate. I really like the cover of this one, its in line with the others. But book 1&2 that I own are made from another material I think. Its not shiny like the other books are. If it really starts to bother me I’ll exchange this one for another copy.
This was a wonderful box and I’m so happy I got it. I will definitely be getting more hangover kit from Faecrate in the future but I decided to limit myself to boxes for books I truly love. Do you get boxes like this? And did you like this one? Let me know in the comments!
