Tag | The Valentine’s Day Book Tag

Yes, I know Valentine’s Day was last week, haha. I still thought it would be fun to do The Valentine’s Day Book Tag. As long as I’m still in the same month, I think it should be fine! I saw this tag on Golden Books Girl‘s blog. This tag was originally created by Taiwo at A Lifestyle Nerd. Let’s take a look at this tag!

What book(s) have you been given as a gift that you loved?

Wow, let’s start with a hard question, haha. I have been gifted quite a lot of book in all honesty. There have been many that I have loved, but I think I will choose Harry Potter. Even though I got the fourth one first, I don’t know if I would’ve picked them up at all without getting them as a gift. They kickstarted my love for reading again, so I will always be grateful for that!

What book(s) would you like to give as a gift to someone else?

When I gift books, I normally try and ask for a list to know what the other person will love! If I had to choose a book I would gift The Exact Opposite of Okay, A Touch of Gold, Dare You to Lie, Courtside Crush, Dear Aaron or Emergence. I can’t choose just one and I honestly think all of these books deserve so much more attention than they’ve received!

If you could gift a random person any bookish item, what would it be?

I would gift them a bookish candle, mug or bookmark of one of my favorite fandoms. Or even their favorite fandom if I could figure it out! Even though to play it safe, I’d probably choose something Harry Potter related! Haha.

If you could gift a random person any non-bookish item, what would it be?

Any non-bookish item… Hmmm, I think I would give that person a blanket. Even if you don’t curl up with a book, nothing is more cozy than curling up with a blanket and cup of tea! In my opinion anyways.

What do you say when a person gives you a gift you don’t like?

I will always thank them and be grateful. Even if it’s something I don’t like, who knows how much time someone put into thinking of a gift? There can always be more of a message than meets the eye!

Mention a book based around Valentine’s Day.

I have been sitting here starting at my screen trying to think of a book based on Valentine’s Day and I can’t think of one book! If you know one, please let me know in the comments!

Mention any two tips for blogging as a gift to other bloggers and to those who may want to start a blog.

My most important tip if to have fun! Try and do things that you love. Blogging shouldn’t be a chore or about the numbers. It should be something for yourself!

Try and think of a schedule that works for you! You don’t have to post everyday and a posting rythym can really help you!

Link to some posts by other bloggers that you loved or were very helpful

There are way too many to mention! Since blogging, I have met only amazing people! The bookish community is the greatest place to be.

Okay, after answering these questions, I really don’t get why this is a Valentine’s Day tag (only one related question, haha). It was still interesting to do! What’s your favorite Valentine’s book?
