It’s almost halfway through December, which means it’s almost Christmas!! I love time time of year. So I really wanted a Christmas Book Tag. The Books Under the Tree Tag was originally created by Game of Tomes, but I saw it on Mel to the Any.
What book would you like to find under the tree this year?
This is a hard one to answer, because there are quite a few I want to be able to read! Haha. At the moment I have to say Queen of Air and Darkness. I am currently reading the e-book, but I am loving this trilogy so much, I just want to have it in my hands!
What is the best book you have ever received for Christmas?
I have to say Harry Potter! It’s a weird story, but I actually got the fourth book first. My mom didn’t realize it was a series and thought it looked like something I would love. Just after we moved to The Netherlands, I was still adjusting to a whole new world. I got the first three books the year after on Christmas and I fell in love with these books. I will never forget getting these books!
What book gives you all the Christmas feels?
Just like Melanie, I have to choose for Harry Potter. These books give me all the feels and I love Christmas time in this series. Just like I answered in the last question, I received these books for Christmas and started reading them then. I will always connect Harry Potter to Christmas.
What book do you plan on reading to put you in the Christmas spirit this year?
I have already read a few cute Christmas stories so far the last couple of months, but I really want to read Kiss Me in New York by Catherine Rider. This book isn’t that long, but it seems like the perfect book to keep on going with this holiday cheer!
What book have you read this year that you would like to throw out with the Christmas tree after the holidays?
I haven’t read a lot of bad books this year, but I would choose Goodbye, Good Girl by Renee Blossom. This book just didn’t make sense, the character made such weird choices and the storyline missed some connections.
What is a book from this year that you would like to place under a friend’s tree?
There have been a lot of amazing books this year, but at the moment I would say The Black Witch by Laurie Forest. This book needs a lot more hype than it’s gotten so far. There were some negative things going on about it, but I think The Black Witch deserves more positive attention. How this author was able to write an amazing world like this is just stunning!
Challenge: Create a stack of books in which the spines alternate green and red! Share the titles.
To be honest, I didn’t really have the energy to do this, so here’s a picture of a Christmas book with some read and green. It was a fun and fast holiday read and I enjoyed it!
If you’re looking for a holiday retelling, definitely pick up Pride and Prejudice and Mistletoe.
The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear. Who do you tag?
I tag anyone who wants to do this one! I also tag:
- Melissa – Melissa’s Fandom World
- Melanie & Mireille – TBR & Beyond
I can’t believe Christmas is two weeks away! What books do you want to find under the tree?
ahh thanks for the tag lovely!! Loved reading your answers and can’t wait to write down my own as well!
Can’t wait to see your answers <3

Thank you <3
I'm sorry to hear you didn't like it at all! I enjoyed it, but it wasn't my favorite holiday book! The main character annoyed me a lot, haha.
