It’s the last month of year and it’s time to see what new releases we will be getting. This year has been filled with amazing books! Will December add anymore amazing ones to the list? Check out our Anticipated Releases for December.
Queen of Air and Darkness – Cassandra Clare (December 4th)
Both of us are Shadowhunter fans and actually have been preparing for this book! We recently read Lady Midnight and both just started Lord of Shadows. Keep an eye on the blog, because we have The Dark Artifices week on the blog next week!
Evermore – Sara Holland (December 31st)
I read Everless this year and did enjoy it. It was a bit overhyped in my opinion, but in the end it had some fun plottwists. The sequel has once again a stunning cover and I hope the story will only get better.
Stronger, Faster, and More Beautiful – Arwen Elys Dayton (December 4th)
I’ve read one book by this author and did enjoy the world she created. It wasn’t my favorite book ever, and I haven’t continued the series but this sci-fi story sounds very intriguing. I hope she has grown as an author and written an even better book.
The Disasters – M.K. England (December 18th)
This year I have really gotten more interested in science fiction! The Disasters sounds like an interesting one. Being kicked out of space academy and maybe one of the only witnesses to a big crime is not something that was expected. I am curious to see how this one plays out!
Kiss Collector – Wendy Higgins (December 18th)
As a fan of contemporary, this one sounds like a book I am going to love. It’s clear that a kissing contest isn’t going to happen without any issues. I have a feeling the characters in this book will also learn a lot about themselves along the way.
My Almost Flawless Tokyo Dream – Rachel Cohn (December 18th)
I have to say the cover of this book is the first thing that caught my eye! The main character ends up getting the family she never expected to find. I think this will be an emotional read, but a beautiful one!
Fire and Heist – Sarah Beth Durst (December 4th)
I’m so excited for this one! Weredragons and heist? This sounds like it’s right up my alley. Six of Crows is one of my favorites ever and I really hope this one is even half as good. It seems like we’ll get some morally grey characters and that’s something I love.
This Lie Will Kill You – Chelsea Pitcher (December 11th)
This is described as Clue meets Riverdale, do you need to know more? The synopsis sounds so epic and I’m hoping for some amazing plot twists. Just reading about it again makes me want to pre order it!
Before We Were Strangers – Brenda Novak (December 4th)
I love to read thrillers and before I discovered YA books that’s what I mostly read. Before We Were Strangers sounds very intriguing, and I’m excited I came across this one. The main character goes back to her home town and is questioning some of her memories. I love these types of thrillers and can’t wait to read it.
As you can see, December is a pretty slow book month! What book are you looking forward to this month?
