Review| All We Want – J. Daniels

J. Daniels surprised all of her Alabama Summer fans with the novella, All We Want. I actually read this series before starting the blog, so I haven’t reviewed any of them on here. Who knows, maybe I will do a reread soon to change that.

All We Want takes us back to Tessa and Luke. Keep on reading to see what I thought!

The New York Times bestselling Alabama Summer series continues in this sixth installment.

Luke and Tessa Evans are solid.

They’re crazy in love and in this forever, and now, they’re anxiously awaiting the next step.

Children.

But when month after month ticks by with nothing but disappointing news, and the stress gets too much to take, their relationship will be tested in ways it’s never been tested before.

When all they want is something they might never have, will their love for each other be enough?

Review

Tessa and Luke were a lot of fun to read about in All I Want and when we saw them in the other books. They didn’t have the easiest start, but it’s clear they love each other. So this made me excited that J. Daniels continues these stories, so we can see how things continue for all of our beloved characters.

Tessa and Luke just want a child to add to their family, but it’s been a year and still nothing. That makes hearing that nothing is physically wrong so much harder to hear. This book is so emotional, it had me in tears a few times and it’s not even 200 pages!

J. Daniels know how to make you feel everything, add a dual POV on top of that and it wrecks you. Tessa tries to be so strong, but it’s clear it’s killing her. Luke is definitely a Tarzan in this story. He will do anything to protect what’s his.

On top of their story, we see all of the previous characters. I love how loving their group of friends is. There are a few family members, but this group proves that family doesn’t have to be blood. All We Want also made me want Nolan’s story like now!

All We Want is a beautiful story and it shows that when things are meant to be they will happen. Sometimes in ways you don’t expect and when you least expect it. I really want more! I can’t imagine what this couple went through and I hope never to experience it.

Also, read the post J. Daniels wrote about why she wrote this story. You can find it here. That makes All We Want just a little bit more than most romance books!

If you haven’t read any of the Alabama series, I really recommend them! Have you read any of the books? Who is your favorite?
