The new TV season has started and as a big TV fan, I have started watching a few of the new ones. A Million Little Things wasn’t one of the shows I started out with, but Isabelle was really excited by this one, so I had to give it a try. I’m so glad that I didn’t skip this one!!

They say friendship isn’t one big thing, it’s a million little things; and that’s true for a group of friends from Boston who bonded under unexpected circumstances. Some have achieved success, others are struggling in their careers and relationships, but all of them feel stuck in life. After one of them dies unexpectedly, it’s just the wake-up call the others need to finally start living. Along the way they discover that friends may be the one thing to save them from themselves.

I love this show and the feeling it gives when watching. It starts off pretty sad, a friend suddenly dies. That turns everyone’s life upside down. On top of that, each friend has their own thing going on: affairs, depression, breast cancer (and for once not a female). Their friend’s death makes them realize they can’t take life for granted.

The cast is amazing and all characters were casted perfectly in my eyes. There is an amazing mixture of comedy, love and sadness. On top of being in the present and seeing them deal with death, we get plenty of flashbacks and tons of memories.

A death can bring people closer and also pull people apart. Certain events threaten to make that happen, but they need to figure out how to deal with everything and still love the others. I love how even the kids are a main part in this show. Seeing how they grieve just as much as adults do!

There have only been four episodes so far and I can’t wait to see what this show brings next! I can’t describe too much without spoiling anything, but everybody really needs to give this show a chance!!
