Unboxing | Fairyloot July

Last week I got my July Fairyloot and today I’m showing you all what was inside! Lately I’ve realized that I’m not as excited about these sub boxes as I used to be anymore. The boxes might be of lower quality but it might also just be that I’ve gotten used to it. I hope this little intro made sense haha, but what I was getting at was that I’m currently debating to stop my subscription and maybe only order boxes I’m super excited about it. Okay, let’s get into the box of today!

This month’s theme was The Power Within and it celebrates books with magical and powerful women. There were some fandoms teased from books I read and enjoyed and that’s always a good thing!

The first item in the box was one I couldn’t capture that well for you guys. This looks like a simple black mug, BUT its actually one of those magical mugs that shows you their design when you pour hot water in there. This mug had a quote from the Falling Kingdoms series by Morgan Rhodes on it: ‘ You must continue to believe with all your heart, sometimes belief is all it takes to make something real’. I really like this item, I love mugs and those magical ones are super fun. And the design is by Little Inking Designs.

The next item is this sticker with a quote from Sky in the Deep. I haven’t read this book yet but heard a lot of positive things about it so it’s on my list πŸ˜‰ The sticker is designed by Reverie and Ink, it’s super simple but I do like it. It’s not really anything special but the quality is nice.

Then we got this broomstick pen that is designed by Fairyloot. I really like the quote on the pen ‘Don’t chase the quaffle if you see the snitch’. And the idea behind this item is great however I don’t really like the look of this pen. I think it could’ve been much nicer looking and while I adore all things Harry Potter I think this is a miss.

We also got this gorgeous ZΓ©lie print, designed by Diana Worak. I’m about half way through Children of Blood and Bone and should really continue reading it haha. The print it beautiful and I love it. I like art prints in general and thus one is just stunning!

I included the picture of this item, but we will be getting a replacement. The quote on this fun tea towel was printed mirrored so its ruined. Really set as I do really like this item! I got a tea towel once before and I think it’s such a fun and useable item to get in a box. This is another quote from a book I still need to pick up. But its also on my list πŸ˜‰ And it’s designed by KDP.

Andddd my favorite item in this box! A room spray ‘Theron’s Study’ by Geeky Clean that smells absolutely amazing!! This is inspired by the Snow Like Ashes series by Sara Raasch and while I have only read the first book, I really loved that book and hope to read the rest soon. Geeky Clean has amazing products and that just makes this a perfect item for me. Super super happy with this.

And obviously we also have the book. This month’s pick is Heart of Thorns by Bree Barton. I was already interested in this one so I was happy to get it. The sprayed edges are bright red and I love that so much. We’re getting sprayed edges a lot lately and I’m all for that! Sprayed edges are one of my favorite things in book designs so keep them coming. I also love that lately we’re getting character prints on the back of the author letters. That’s definitely a little something extra that makes it all worth more.

Did you get this months Fairyloot? And what did you think of it? Let me know in the comments!

  1. I agree the pen could be a lot better. At very least they should have made it brown instead of white! I do like the quote tho πŸ™‚

Too bad about the tea towel but at least they are sending a new one!

    1. Yes the quote was nice! I’m excited to see the tea towel as it’s supposed to be and be able to use it πŸ˜€
