We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since last January Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week’s topic is pretty similar to a previous one, but since Candyce got to doΒ that one I figured I would stick to the topic, it is pretty fun one too! So today I get to talk about the 10 bookish worlds I’d want to live in. Let’s dive in!
10. Khorasan
I feel in love with Khorasan thanks to the descriptions in The Wrath and the Dawn. Everytime I would read tWatD or the Rose and the Dagger I would just get hungry! The food sounds amazing and the capital sounds wonderful. I would especially like to live there after the events in the duology π
9. Fennbirn
Naturally I wouldn’t want to be on of the Queens in the Three Dark Crowns world Fennbirn but I would love to live there! Strong woman everywhere and I would love to find out what gift I would have. I did a Buzzfeed test and got Poisoner haha, the poisoners in TDC are not really my favorite people but at the same time it would be a pretty cool gift to have.
8. The Witchlands
Witchlands already sounds pretty cool right? There are so many different witches in this world and I have no idea what kind I would be. But I would absolutely love to find out! There are a bunch of different countries so to say in this world and it would be great to travel through all of them. I also really like the characters in these books (Truthwitch & Windwitch) so it would be amazing to meet them.
7. The future with Warcross
I loved loved loved reading about the game Warcross. The scenes in the game were my favorite scenes for sure. Can’t wait to reread those parts. And I would absolutely LOVE to play that game myself.
6.Β The School for Good and Evil
Now this is one I’m not 100% sure about. I really love the School for Good and Evil books and it sounds pretty amazing to go this school. However, there is a little risk for the low ranked students and I would not like that at all π Do you think I would be part of Good of Evil? Let me know in the comments π
5. Ketterdam
The Six of Crows duology is one of my favorite fantasy series and the Grisha verse is so interesting. I mean, Β I would like to be a Grisha if I’m part of this world but either way life in Ketterdam would never be boring. It also has some historic Dutch influences and that’s so cool.
4. Velaris
Who doesn’t love Velaris after reading A Court of Mist and Fury? It’s simply perfection and I would obviously love to live here. Would that also mean I can be part of the Inner Circle? That would be even more amazing haha. I loved getting to discover more of Velaris in A Court of Frost and Starlight and hope to see a lot more in the upcoming ACOTAR books.
3. Antica / Terassen
I love Throne of Glass and reading about Aelin’s love for Terassen makes me really want to go there. And after reading Tower of Dawn I just had to include Antica. Antica was so amazing to read about and to explore parts of it. Perfection would be to live in one of them and to have a second home in the other π
2. Red London
London is one of my favorite places on Earth and a London filled with magic is the only thing that is better. I don’t think I need to explain this one much further haha. Moving here would have to take place after the trilogy though or I’m not sure I would survive it haha. And it would really suck not having any magic, would be great to be an Antari π Or just be Lila, that would be the best thing ever.
1. Hogwarts
Do I need to say more? Obviously this is the ultimate bookish world and there is nowhere I’d rather be. Harry Potter is my most read series is all time and I love any and all things HP. Hogwarts is the dream and I would give a LOT to be part of this world <3
Which bookish worlds would you like to live in? And when is someone making us a device to make this possible π Let me know about your favorite bookish world in the comments!
Awesome list! I love the world of Warcross. You have someother interesting choices as well.
Oh, I’d love to live in Hogwarts. What an adventure that would be.
