I love reading series over stand alones but I do tend to start more series than I finish! Today I wanted to share some of the series I still need to finish with you all. To not make this an insanely long post I decided to keep it to the series I completely own in physical form. And only series I have already started. Maybe next time I’ll do a post with the series I don’t completely own or the series I have as ebooks or audiobooks. But as I said, today I will share the series I own and have started. Outlander – Diana Gabaldon

I was debating putting this in here, as I don’t think the series is completed yet. There is supposed to be at least one more book. But also, it’s going to take me forever to at least catch up with these books. They’re huge, have a tiny font, and aren’t super easy to read. However I did really enjoy the first book and the part I read of the second book. So at some point I will be reading the rest! I want to bring the second with me on a vacation as I need to have some time to really get back into the book and just finish it in a day or two!

Daughter of Smoke and Bone – Laini Taylor

I never expected to like the first book as much as I did! Some friends convinced me to pick it up and it was actually a five star read for me. The second book was really amazing as well and unfortunately I took too long to pick up the third book. I’ve become scared of picking that last one up and not remembering anything from the previous two books. There is just the third book, Dreams of Gods & Monsters, left to read so I should go for it soon probably. Candyce has the same as I think we did a buddy read for at least book 1 but maybe also book 2. Hopefully we can read that last one anytime soon.

His Fair Assassins – Robin LaFevers

Now this is probably going to be a common theme in this post BUT I don’t remember that much from the first two books… I do know the general story but don’t remember ANY details unfortunately. Especially book two, Dark Triumph is a blur. This is so sad since I gave both books 5 stars so I must have loved them. We’re also getting another duology in this world, one more reason to finish the original trilogy soon. I really enjoyed this world and maybe I should just reread the first two books. These three books do have a bit of separate storylines so maybe it won’t be so bad if I don’t remember anything, we’ll see!

The Sin Eater’s Daughter – Melinda Salisbury

This was a bit of a cover and discount buy all into one haha. However I ended up enjoying this book enough to also get the second one when it was published. The second book took a direction I didn’t see coming and it took me a while to get into the story. In the end I did really enjoy it and I’m excited to find out how the third book will bring everything together and end this trilogy.

Half Bad – Sally Green

The first book in this series surprised me a lot, it was definitely different from what I was expected to be reading. At the same time, that’s most of what I remember from this book and what’s holding me back from reading the next two books. If I didn’t already own them I don’t think I would be picking up the rest of the series. Simply because I already have to read so so much and as I said I don’t remember that much. However, the were on discount at some point so I got both of them, as one does 😉

The Daughter of the Pirate King – Tricia Levenseller

This is the one I read most recently, just about three months ago. I really liked this one and read it in one day while I was in France. The series is actually just a duology so I just have to read one more book to tick this one of my list. As I said, I flew through the first one so I have really high hopes for the second book. I love lady pirates and Alosa is pretty bad ass! The story is quite fresh in my mind still so I hope to pick the second one up really soon so I won’t forget any important details.

Snow Like Ashes – Sara Raasch

I got the complete trilogy last October and quickly after read the first book. My hopes were super high and I really really enjoyed the book. I planned on picking up the second one soon after but somehow we’re at least 6 months further and somehow I still haven’t. After liking the first book so much I really want to pick up those next ones really soon. And aren’t those covers just gorgeous? Hopefully the next two books live up to my expectations.

All in all this doesn’t seem to bad right?! Apart from Outlander I could finish all these series in about a month, maybe a month and a half. However…. we all know I won’t hahaha.
