A couple of days ago I saw a really fun video on Tashapolis’s youtube channel and thought it would be so fun to do as well. This video was all about her ranking the Marvel movies leading up to Infinity War. After watching that I was really excited to watch the 4 Marvel movies I hadn’t yet and actually ended up watching 3(!) that day! I watch the last one yesterday and today I bring you all me ranking the marvel movies. Before starting this post I did not realize how hard this was and it took me quite a while to be honest! It’s been forever since I watched some of these so that definitely made it harder but in the end I came up with the following ranking.

 

We’re starting at number 18 with my least favorite movie and working our way up to number 1 with my most favorite Marvel movie. As I said, this was really hard and if you ask me this in like a month it might be completely different haha. I kinda went with my gut feeling and this is what I came up with:

18. Iron Man 3

I was mixing up all the Iron Man movies in my head and had to refresh myself but decided I liked Iron Man 3 the least out of all of them. It definitely had some great moments but overall the plot didn’t bring me anything special.

17. Captain America: Winter Soldier

I was so so so annoyed by Captain America. The only reason this isn’t in last place is because of the Winter Soldier, but I don’t think I would willingly watch this one again.

16. The Incredible Hulk

You can clearly see this is an older movie and as I watched it after some of the more awesome movies this just fell a little bit short. It also annoys me that we have another Hulk here. I watched the Avengers first so I’m used to Mark as the Hulk although I did actually like Edward Norton.

15. Captain America: The First Avenger

As I said, I’m not really a fan of Captain America so that’s the reason this isn’t higher on the list. I did like the movie and I love Peggy Carter.

14. Iron Man 2

I know a lot of people are massive Iron Man fans and I did like this one more than the third Iron Man movie but there are simply other Marvel movies I liked more.

13.  Doctor Strange

I liked this movie a lot but it somehow didn’t really feel like a Marvel movie? Probably because I didn’t know anything about Doctor Strange before this movie and I always see Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock haha.

12. Thor: The Dark World

I really enjoyed all the movies that are coming up from now on, some just a little bit more than others haha. I’m a massive Loki fangirl and I loved him here <3 Why doesn’t he have his own movie?

11. Ant- Man

I didn’t expect to like this to be honest. This is one of the movies I watched last week and I was pleasantly surprised. This is basically a heist movie and I love movies or books with a heist (Ocean’s Eleven, Six of Crows <3 )

10. Guardians of the Galaxy 2

I loved the first Guardians of the Galaxy and this was really fun as well but just not as much. The first one brought a lot of new things and I loved the traveling in it. This sequel had less of that travel and was a bit more of the same.

9. Iron Man

I really enjoyed the start of this movie. Somehow that stuck with me the most. And I also like that Tony doesn’t have any superpowers, he’s just really rich and really smart. Iron Man is in a ton of Marvel movies and I don’t like him all the time. Honestly, I’m kinda conflicted on my feelings for him and I can’t really pinpoint why.

8. Marvel’s The Avengers

I love the Avengers! They’re all coming together in this movie and that is just amazing. I also think this might’ve been one of the first Marvel movies I watched so that’s just points for getting me into this fandom.

7. Captain America: Civil War

This is the Captain America movie I liked the most, he wasn’t annoying in this one at all. This is one of the movies where Iron Man actually annoyed me. And this has Bucky so that’s great! Also, like in the Avengers I really liked that there were so many of our fav characters in here.

6. Spider-Man: Homecoming

I just watched this yesterday and OMG this was so much fun! There are so many Spider-Man movies out there but this is definitely one of my favs. Tom Holland is for sure a big part of me liking it so much, he’s a great actor and I really like his portrayal of Peter Parker. It was a lot of fun to see Peter grow as a superhero and I think that was more important than the whole villain part.

5. Avengers: Age of Ultron

Love the movie, love the villain, love the cast of characters. Honestly, the one thing I didn’t like about this one is it had no Loki 🙁 SAD. It also gave me a bit Illuminae vibes, can you get behind that?

4. Thor

This was amazing! Just seeing Thor walking around Earth all confused about what everything is was so much fun. In general I really enjoy the humor in Marvel movies.

3. Black Panther

This movie was simply amazing! I loved every single thing about this and I’m so excited the Black Panther will be in Infinity War. Shuri was my favorite character for sure, she was so so cool!

2. Thor: Ragnarok

Another amazing movie! Like I mentioned, I love the humor in the Marvel movies and this one had some really funny moments. Just thinking about it, brings a smile to my face haha. I can’t wait to rewatch this.

1. Guardians of the Galaxy 1

And here’s my number 1! I adored Guardians of the Galaxy so so much. It was funny, had some awesome action, good plot, great characters. Just an overall amazing movie. I’m really excited for the Guardians and the Avengers to get together in Infinity War.
