Tag | Beauty & the Beast Book Tag

While looking for a fun tag today today, I came across this Beauty & the Beast book tag over at Kat’s blog nosestuckinabook. She did this one because Beauty & the Beast is her favourite Disney movie and you guys might know that it is my fav as well! I love all things BatB so this tag was perfect to do today. I really enjoyed filling out these answers, hope you all love reading them!

“Who’s a man among man?” – Gaston Song
A Villain You Can’t Help But Love

The first villain that comes to mind is Loki from the Thor movies haha. That might have something to do with Tom Riddleston 😉 If I would pick a villain from a book I would go with Holland from the Shades of Magic series by V.E. Schwab. While I really hated him at first I grew to love him over the course of the books.

“Here’s where she meets Prince Charming” – Belle Song
Your OTP

Can I only pick one here? I have SO MANY! But if I had to choose, I would go for Prince Dorian and Manon from the Throne of Glass series. I know not everyone likes this ship, or series for that matter, but Dorian has been my favorite since the moment we got to know him. And while a lot of readers hated Manon’s chapters in Heir of Fire, I liked her right away. I would love to see these two amazing characters in a happy ending together and I guess we only have to wait till October to find out!

“I want much more than this provincial life” – Belle Reprise
A Character Destined For Greater Things

This is a hard one! Most main characters I read about actually do the greatest things they could possibly do, and then they do some more haha. I’m going to make this really sad and pick Sam from the Throne of Glass series, he definitely deserved better than what he got.

“Try the grey stuff, it’s delicious” – Be Our Guest
A Book That Made You Hungry

The Wrath and the Dawn by Renee Ahdieh! Not a doubt in my mind haha. I really enjoyed this book, much more than I expected I would. There is quite some mentioning of food and it all sounded so delicious. I’m getting hungry just thinking about the book!

“Barely even friends, then somebody bends” – Beauty & the Beast
Opposites Attract

Ron and Hermione from the Harry Potter series are probably the perfect example here. I know there are some people out there that think they should never have ended up together because they’re so different from each other. But to be honest, there are so many real life relationships I don’t understand and yet they work so why wouldn’t this work? I loved to read about the progression of their relationship and really like them together.

“There may be something there that wasn’t there before” – Something There
A Character Who’s More Than They Appear

Warner from the Shatter Me series. The Warner you meet in the first book is so different from the Warner you get to know in the rest of the series. I think Tahereh Mafi did a terrific job in the characterization of Warner and he is probably the reason I will read the rest of the books that are coming our way.

“I was innocent and certain, now I’m wiser but unsure” – Days In The Sun
A Book That Changed You In Some Way

I think most books change us in some way and most of the times we don’t even realize that it has happened. I read a study that people who have read the Harry Potter series are more tolerant than people who didn’t read the series. I also think that, unfortunately haha, boys in books have set unrealistic goals for me. I have yet to find a guy and a relationship that will live up to my expectations I got from reading all those books with their swoon worthy guys and romantic gestures.

“It’s time to take some action boys. It’s time to follow me.” – Mob Song
A Book You Picked Up Bc Of The Hype

There are A LOT of books I picked up because of the hype. When I first started reading blogs and watching booktube videos is when I became aware of hyped books and I think there are tons of books I picked up because of that. The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer is definitely a book series  I picked up because I saw it everywhere.

“I’ll never shake away the pain.” – Evermore
A Book Or Moment That Makes You Cry

I cry alllll the time haha. The Fault in Our Stars and Me Before You both had me sobbing for basically the entire book. But I usually cry whenever someone dies, and especially the moment the loved ones hear about the death and you read about their grief. That has me crying every single time. But I also cry reading about really beautiful and heart felt moments. Always and Forever, Lara Jean by Jenny Han had me crying all the tears for all different reasons haha. I cried at sad moments, happy moments, nostalgic moments. Anything you can think of!

This was the tag for today, if you want to do this one feel free to do so. Don’t forget to link back to this page so we get a notification and can check yours out! And tell me your favorite villain in the comments down below!
