Tag| The Book Blogger Insider Tag

We were tagged by Red Rocket Panda to do this tag. It’s always fun to get some behind the scenes information about bloggers. So we want to give that to you as well. Take a look at the questions we were asked in this tag! I (Candyce) decided I would do this tag today.

Rules:
1. Answer the questions below
2. Credit the creator Jamie @ALittleSliceofJamie
3. Tag at least 5 people
4. Have fun!

1. Where do you typically write your blog posts?

I almost always write my posts on my laptop. Most of the time this is while I am sitting on the couch and watching a tv show. Except for when writing a review. I need to concentrate a bit more when I do those.
2. How long does it generally take you to write a book review?

That depends. Sometimes it can take me an hour, other times I am done in a half an hour. I guess it depends on the book. At times I really need to think about a book and what is was really about and other books are straight to the point and my review is done in no time.

3. When did you start your book blog?

We started the blog at the end op September in 2017. We are still very much learning as we go, but love what we have managed to do so far. This will be the sixth full month of blogging for us!

4. What is the worst thing about having a book blog in your opinion?

I think the worst thing is that it takes up some of my reading time, haha. I love sharing my love of books though, so it’s well worth it.

5. What is the best thing about having a book blog in your opinion?

I love sharing the love for books and talking to people who share the same passion! Since we started blogging we have met a lot of great people. The book blogging community is amazing.

6. What blog post have you had the most fun writing so far?

I recently answered this in our Liebster Award post, but I will put it down here again. I loved my Books to Read Before 2018 post. I failed big time, haha. It was a lot of fun to write and think about though.

7. What is your favourite type of blog post to write?

My favorite posts are the wrap ups at the end of the month and I have to say I am enjoying writing reviews more and more.

8. When do you typically write?

I mostly write on my days off. Then I write during the day I am still learning how to work ahead, so sometimes it’s in the evening when I need to make sure a blog post is ready for the next day. We are both slowly learning how to manage this better, haha.

9. Do you review every book you read?

I try to. Sometimes it takes awhile before I actually have it scheduled, but eventually a review will be posted on the blog. I think the only time I wouldn’t post a review is if I didn’t have anything to say about a book. That hasn’t happened yet though.

10. How do you write your book reviews? With a cup of coffee or tea? With Netflix? Cuddled with your fur baby?

Most of the time I write every blog post with a cup of tea and either a TV show or music on in the background. My fur babies are always next to me or in the room somewhere. Either that or running around and that makes writing a post take so much longer.

11. When do you write your book reviews? Right after finishing the book? Two weeks after finishing the book?

I try and right them right after I read a book, but this isn’t the case very often. Some things take me quite awhile to actually write, haha. I have been getting better. That is a goal for me this year. To make sure I write my reviews before I forget everything, haha.

12. How often do you post?

We try and post every day! It helps a lot that this blog is something we do together. This makes it easier to make sure every day is covered. We split everything to get things done.

I’m never a fan of these things telling me how many people to tag, so I say feel free to do this tag if you feel like it. If you do I would love to see your answers! What is your favorite type of blog post to write?

  1. Love to read these kind of blogpost. Then it´s about the person writing and not the books themself.
I also write reviews with music or tv-shows on in the background haha I have a hard time only doing one thing at the time 😛

    1. Haha, same here. And I get distracted when it’s too quiet. It’s fun giving you guys more personal stuff about us. I love learning stuff about people behind the blog.
