Not too long ago we did an unboxing for Celebrate Books’ English Book Box in November. I loved that back so much, that I needed this one as well. I loved the description of this box and I thought I knew what book I would get and I was right! If you want to see what’s in the box, keep reading! I will say there are spoilers for people who maybe haven’t opened their box yet.
I received my box on Saturday. I worked all day, so the box was a very pleasant surprise to come home to.
I always get excited when I see this box, haha. After taking this picture I opened it right up.
My unboxing was interrupted by Shadow. She decided this box was very interesting and tasteful. She tried eating the top of the box, haha. After moving Shadow, I could finally continue seeing what I got.
The first thing I saw was this amazing mug! This image is of course inspired by A Darker Shade of Magic. The illustration was made by Four Seasons Fox. I think this image is beautiful. I have only read the first book of this trilogy and loved it. This mug makes me want to continue immediately.
The next item I opened was this candle. The Sun Summoner candle was made by Light the Pages. The Sun Summoner is inspired by Alina Starkov from the Grishaverse-series written by Leigh Bardugo. This candle smells SO good! I still have a hard time actually lighting my bookish candles, but this one smells too good not to be used. Once again, a series where I have only read the first book. I really enjoyed it, so another series that needs to be finished as soon as possible.
After the candle I saw this beautiful magnetic bookmark made by Proud Book Junk. I love Azriel and I don’t think he gets enough attention when it comes to bookish goodies, so I am so happy with this item.
The next thing I saw was this sticker. I had to zoom in a bit, because it’s tiny. I wanted you to be able to see the details. This sticker was made by Reviews and Roses and is from To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han. These books were so cute, so this sticker will be getting a place on my bookshelf. They are filming the first book. I can’t wait to see what they do with this book.
The next item I found was this beautiful fan art card of Wonder Woman. The spoiler card doesn’t say who the artist is, but this will definitely get a spot near my Wonder Woman book! Apparently there were two other cards that were randomly put in the boxes. I have seen a Spiderman card. I don’t know who the third character is.
Starting this year, Celebrate Books is putting their own set of playing cards in their book boxes. I love the drawings on these cards. Perfect for bookstagram pictures.
And last but not least, this beautiful book! Like always, there is a quote card for the book. This time we were really lucky though. We got an actual signed bookplate from Marie Lu. I loved Wonder Woman, so I am hoping this book is just as good.
The boxes I’ve gotten so far from Celebrate Books have all been good, but I think this is my favorite one so far!
In February there will be another English Book Box and the theme is Murder Girls. This one sounds really good as well and I think I know what book is inside! For the people who get book boxes, what are your favorite type of goodies?
