A friend of ours, Kwante, from Kwante in Wonderland created the Monthly Monday Book Shelfie. Every month there is a new topic. Continue reading to find out what the Monthly Monday Book Shelfie is and what to do if you want to participate!
Christmas is exactly two weeks away, so this month the theme Christmas. We have to show you our favorite Christmas or Winter book! After you figure out what book you want to use, you do the following:
- You take a book shelfie – the book you chose in front of the other books on your shelf.
After that you answer the following questions:
- Where did you get the book?
- Have you read the book yet?
- What did you think of the book? If you haven’t read the book yet, what do you expect?
My absolute favourite Christmas Holiday read is Harry Potter! I just can’t help myself haha. I got most of these years ago and quite some were Christmas presents! The two illustrated editions were Christmas presents last year. The two small books I got for myself at the HP studios in London. Fantastic Beasts and The Cursed Child I also got for myself haha. And the book in the right top corner is a French edition of the Philosopher’s Stone <3
When taking a closer look you can see all the merch I got, a wand, some Funko’s, pins, magnetic bookmarks, stickers, candles, fan art and so on and on.
I think it’s pretty obvious I’ve read and LOVED these books haha. I’m currently rereading the first book. I do have to admit I haven’t started the illustrated editions yet. But I’m expecting them to be wonderful.
This month there’s no book shelfie, but a tree shelfie, haha. Our Christmas Tree is right in front of the bookshelf I use for moments like these, haha. Oh well, at least it fits the theme of this month!
Where did you get the book? I ordered this online on a Dutch website I get a lot of my books from.
Have you read this book yet? No, I haven’t. It will be read this month though. I’m trying to fit in a few Christmas reads in between review books and other books on my TBR.
What do you expect? I expect a fluffy and cozy Christmas story with a happy ending. A book that leaves me feeling good after I read it. Hopefully I will find out soon.
Those are our favorite Christmas/Winter books. What are some of yours? And of course we will be back next month with the next book shelfie.
