Tag| Goodreads Book Tag

There are so many book tags online, so it’s hard to choose one. I saw the Goodreads Book Tag on Literary Me! and it seemed like a lot of fun, so I am tagging myself, haha. I use Goodreads almost daily, so a tag about it sounded like a good idea.

1. What was the last book that you read?

The last book I finished was Judging Books by Shay Savage. I had the honor of reading an ARC. This book was released on the 28th and I definitely recommend it! You can read my review here.

2. What book(s) are you currently reading?

I am someone who can never only read one book at a time, haha. I have a book I read when on the way to work, one for on the couch at home and one on my phone or e-reader I read when I have a few free minutes. These are the three books I am currently reading. Glass Sword should also be on this list, but I have only read one chapter, so  I didn’t include a picture, haha. You can expect to see reviews of all of these on the blog sometime in the near future.

3. What was the last book you marked as To-Read?

I actually marked Retribution by Jennifer L Armentrout most recently to my To-Read pile, but that doesn’t have a cover yet, haha. The book after that is Leah on the Offbeat. This sounds like such a cute book and I loved Simon VS. the Homo Sapien Agenda. So I need this book! Unfortunately, we have awhile to wait before we can read either of these books.

4. What book do you plan to read next?

It’s almost December, so I am really in the mood for Christmas reads. The Afterlife of Holly Chase will be a buddyread for the blog in December, so keep an eye out for the review a few days before Christmas. Otherworld is a book that Isabelle and I will be reading together as well. This books sounds very interesting. My New Crush Gave to Me sounds like a really sweet Christmas book I need in my life this time of year, haha.

5. Do you use a star rating system?

I do! I rate books between 1 and 5 stars or crowns on the blog!

6. Are you doing a 2017 reading challenge?

I am doing a reading challenge. My challenge is to read 140 books and at this moment I have read 130, so I will make it this year. Next year I plan on making it a bit higher.

7. Do you have a wishlist?

It’s kind of a wishlist. I look at the anticipated releases coming out and if I think they sound interesting I will write them down in a notebook.

8. What book do you want to buy next?

This was actually a really hard question, but at the moment I will choose this one. It’s also a good read for near the end of the year and it sounds like a book I will love.

9. Do you have any favorite quotes?

I have a lot of favorite quotes, but one of the favorites at the moment is from Warcross by Marie Lu.

“Every locked door has a key. Every problem has a solution.”

10. Do you have any favorite authors?

I have quite a few: Sarah J Maas, Jennifer L Armentrout, Colleen Hoover, Leigh Bardugo, Marissa Meyer, Cassandra Clare and Adam Silvera are some of the ones that pop up at this moment.

11. Have you joined any groups?

I joined a few, but haven’t had much time to be really active lately. Hopefully in the new year I can change this!

So that’s the tag for this week! What is the next book you want to buy?
