I love bookish merch and really want to share that love with you all! One of my fav types of merch is:
Bookish Candles!!
You hadn’t guessed that one from the title right? Haha. I was planning on showing off all my candles in one article. Until I realised I have over 50 candles (if I counted correctly) so that would either be an insanely long article or one with hardly any details… I thought that would be such a shame so I decided to split my candles and handle one fandom at a time. The latter part will probably be combined fandoms as I have only 1 candle from a couple of fandoms. But we’ll see how that works out when we get there π Excited to see which candles I got for you today? Read on!
Just a picture of all my candles! It hardly fitted… What do you mean ‘I have a problem’?
For today I wanted to show off my Six of Crows candles. I absolutely adore that duology by Leigh Bardugo and I just needed some merch. Most of my Six of Crows candles are from the same company, just one is from a different one. As you can see in the picture above over half of my candles are from one company…
The first Six of Crows candle I got is the small brown one, ‘Ketterdam’. This is one from Romemadecandles, I got 4 different places from her and Ketterdam was one of them. I was so happy to find a Six of Crows related item. Romemadecandles is a Dutch company which makes the shipping quite doable. She also got really cute boxes with (usually) 4 candles inside. The candles are quite small but that way you can get more π I’m really careful with lighting them so I don’t mind that these are small. They look super cute on my shelves and are great value for money.
After that initial candle, Romy released a Six of Crows box. This box included 6 candles: Kaz Brekker, Inej Ghafa, Nina Zenik, Jesper Fahey, Wylan van Eck, and Matthias Helvar. I really like the labels on these candles and the vibrant colours. These candles also have some cute glitters on them. They all smell very differently and I love all the scents. They have been chosen really well and definitely fit the characters. Some of them do smell quite strong, I’m excited to find out what they smell like when they’re lit.
And then one last Six of Crows candle: Kaz Brekker from Flick the Wick. This is a full size candle. I love the ‘dirtyhands’ line under the candle name, it just shows the eye for detail. I’ve got some more Flick the Wick candles and I love all of them! Can’t wait to show you the rest. But first this Kaz Brekker candle. It smells perfectly, if I close my eyes I can just picture myself standing in the Ketterdam harbor next to Kaz. I lit it for the picture and kept it on for a while, the scent is just so well chosen and it smells great! I very much enjoy this candle. Both the colour and the label fit the character very well and make me love the candle even more.
This was my first batch of candles! You can expect more of these articles in the upcoming weeks. Do you own any bookish candles? And do you light them?
I really want a bookish candle but I got one for free once in a box and it got ruined on itΒ΄s way here so it smelled horrible so Im kind of scared of buying one now π
