TTT #2|Books with Fall Covers/Themes

Every other week we’ll have a Top Ten Tuesday. This bookish meme is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010!

This week’s theme is your top ten books with Fall Covers/Themes. If the book screams Fall or gives a Fallish vibe, it’s perfect for this list. Let us take a look at my top ten!

I actually had to think about this one for awhile, but I think I finally made up my mind, haha. These are the books that have Fall themes or covers and really speak to me!

1. Harry Potter – J.K. Rowling

This was the first one that came to mind when I read what this weeks topic was, haha. It’s almost Fall when the train heads back to Hogwarts and I can imagine walking around the grounds in the crisp Fall air. And while there I would have to stay for their Halloween celebration!

2. Snow Like Ashes – Sara Raasch

Another beautiful cover and you can see a Fall scene on it as well. All the seasons are represented in this world. So for me another perfect Fall book. I really enjoyed this fantasy book and need to get back to this trilogy and read the other two. If I don’t get to the second book soon I may need to reread this one before I can continue.

3. 180 Seconds – Jessica Park

Purple is definitely a Fall color to me and this cover is stunning! And this is such a beautiful book. I cried my eyes out while reading it at times, but it was so worth it. It kind of fits the Fall theme as well, because it starts out at the beginning of the school year and continues through the holidays and everything. I really recommend this book! I don’t hear enough about it online.

4. Fangirl – Rainbow Rowell

Once again this isn’t really a Fall themed book or a Fall cover, but this gives me Fall feelings. Again this a story where the main character heads off to school. Just like the main character I am a fangirl. And the type of book she is a fan of is kind of like Harry Potter, so I link this to Fall as well. It gives me a cozy feeling and that is how I describe Fall.

5. Carry On – Rainbow Rowell

This is the book that Cath from Fangirl loves so much. It’s a lot like Harry Potter and I love the  Fall and Winter vibe I get from this book. If I didn’t have so many books I needed to read at the moment I would definitely be rereading this!

6. Follow Me Back – A.V. Geiger

This is a Fall book to me, because of the suspense in the book. I read this book in one sitting and it had me on the edge of my seat. I would recommend to read this book around Halloween. I can’t wait for the second book.

7. Air Awakens – Elise Kova

This cover screams Fall to me! I haven’t read it yet, so I don’t know if the story will fit into the Fall themes. Isabelle read this book and enjoyed it, so this is yet another book that needs to be on top of my never ending TBR.

8. A Change of View – Freya Barker

This is another cover that screams Fall to me. Sitting outside with a long sleeve shirt and seeing the mountains with snow on them. I lived in Utah for a couple years when I was younger and we got snow on the mountains at the beginning of the Fall season. So seeing it on a cover like this will always remind me of that time in my life.

9. Crooked Kingdom – Leigh Bardugo

The colors in this color are definitely Fall colors. It’s  a darker cover and I love it. I have to say I think this is the type of story to read in the Fall as well. I tend to read more Fantasy books and darker stories than I do in the summer. I am still a mood reader though, so I can really read anything, haha.

10. My Lady Jane – Cynthina Hand, Brodi Ashton & Jodi Meadows

This is also a cover with Fall colors. I haven’t read it yet, as you guys know after reading previous posts of mine. I hope to read it before the end of the year. When I read what this book is about it definitely seems like it’s the type of story to read during the Fall while curled up on the couch with a blanket and a cup of hot tea.

So these are the ten books I choose for this TTT. Have you read any of them? What are books that you think are perfect Fall reads?

  1. I was eyeing Follow Me Back on my TBR-pile yesterday, but ended up picking something else instead.
Since you recommend it to read close to Halloween, I might just do that!
